Can I share my account, or do I need my own?

Each Counselling Tutor account is for one person. Your account is personal to you — your certificates are issued in your name and the platform keeps a record of your own progress — so accounts can't be shared between people.

Why each account is individual

  • Your certificates are personalised to you. CPD and course certificates are individually linked to the account holder and issued in your name. They are a personal record of the learning you have completed, so they need to belong to one named person.
  • The platform remembers your progress. Your account tracks the lectures and sessions you've watched, the certificates you've claimed, and where you are up to. If an account were shared, that record would no longer reflect any one person's genuine learning.
  • It keeps your record accurate and trustworthy. Because everything is tied to your own account, your certificates and progress are a true reflection of your CPD — which matters for your professional body and your own records.

For these reasons, a shared account isn't possible.

If more than one person would like access

If a colleague or friend would also like to use our resources, they're very welcome — they'll just need their own account, so that their certificates and progress are recorded in their name. If you're enquiring about access for a team or group, email us and we'll be glad to help.

Still need help?

If you have any questions about your account, email us at support@counsellingtutor.com and a real person will get back to you within 24 hours.
