Counselling Tutor has been training counsellors in online and telephone work for over a decade. The depth of experience matters: when the COVID pandemic suddenly required tens of thousands of practitioners to work online overnight, CPCAB made our introductory online and telephone training available to all of their students so they could level up to best practice.

This isn't a course that was assembled to capitalise on the post-pandemic shift. It's the formal certificate version of training that has been continuously refined over years of practice.

The teaching team are all qualified counsellors and experienced educators with practical experience working online themselves. They are also qualified counselling tutors — formally trained to teach, not just to practise.

Why we don't name individual tutors

Tutor team composition evolves over time. Naming individuals in marketing makes information go out of date. Instead, we describe the team in terms that remain true: experienced practitioners who are also qualified counselling tutors, with practical experience working online and by telephone themselves.
