Are your CPD hours recognised in the United States?

Counselling Tutor is a UK-based training provider. Our CPD hours and certificates are designed for practitioners working within the UK professional framework and are recognised by UK counselling bodies including the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).

We do not currently hold accreditation with US-based professional bodies, including the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). This means we are unable to provide an NBCC Provider number, and our certificates cannot be used directly to fulfil NBCC Continuing Education Unit (CEU) requirements.

If you are based in the United States, we would always recommend checking directly with your own ethical body or licensing board in the first instance — they are best placed to advise whether hours from an international provider can be accepted towards your continuing education requirements.
