CPD certificates from the Counsellor CPD Library are recognised by most ethical bodies in the United Kingdom — including BACP, NCPS, and COSCA. Counselling Tutor was the first organisation ever awarded NCPS Trusted Resource status.
Recognition
The library's CPD certificates are accepted by:
- BACP — British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
- NCPS — National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society
- COSCA — Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland
— and other UK-based ethical bodies.

A few things to know about the library's professional standing:
- NCPS Trusted Resource — Counselling Tutor was the first organisation ever awarded this recognition, in acknowledgement of the quality of resources in the library

These are not vanity badges. They reflect a continuing commitment to quality, ethical practice, and standards in CPD provision.
International members
If you practise outside the UK, your own professional body sets the rules for what counts as CPD. In our experience, library certificates are accepted internationally — but if your body has specific requirements, do check with them. We can supply any additional information you need to support a CPD submission.
