The team brings specialisms across trauma, online practice, neurodiversity, addictions, group supervision, faith-based counselling, and mental health work in NHS, EAP, private practice, third-sector, and education settings.
Why teaching qualifications matter
There is no legal barrier to running a supervision course. Anyone can. Most providers staff their courses with passionate practitioners who have never been formally trained as teachers.
A teaching qualification means knowing how to work from the learner's frame of reference — not your own. Understanding learning outcomes, different learning styles, and how to support students who learn differently. The difference shows up in how questions are answered, how dense material is broken down, and how the room is held when something difficult comes up.
Multiple tutors per cohort
Live sessions are staffed by multiple tutors at once. This is what enables the demonstration-practice-feedback model — one tutor leading, others observing breakout rooms and giving personalised feedback. Without this staffing, the experiential learning that defines the course wouldn't be possible.
A dedicated tech team
Live sessions also have a dedicated technical host whose only job is to manage the digital environment — so tutors can focus on teaching and you can focus on learning, without worrying about whether your audio is working.
