What does the Clinical Supervision course include?

The Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision is a 180-hour blended learning programme at Level 6 equivalent, mapped to BACP and NCPS competences and awarded NCPS Quality Checked status.

  • 40 hours of live tutor-led online teaching (minimum 80% attendance required)
  • 120 hours of additional online learning via a secure portal
  • 180 hours total training
  • An introductory session before the start of each course intake
  • Peer practice sessions observed by tutors (for developmental purposes)
  • Supporting documents and lectures to reinforce learning
  • Blended learning to accommodate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles
  • Completion certificate evidencing your learning and CPD
  • Free access to our 10-hour Introduction to Online and Telephone Counselling course

Qualification Level

The course is taught, observed, and assessed at Level 6 equivalent — equivalent to undergraduate degree level — aligned with the FHEQ/FQHEIS frameworks and the BACP supervision training curriculum.

Professional Recognition

The course is mapped to the supervision competences set by the BACP and the NCPS. The NCPS has audited the course and awarded it Quality Checked status — your completion certificate will carry the NCPS Quality Checked logo.

When Does the Course Run?

The course runs monthly. Specific session dates are confirmed and shared when enrolment opens for each intake.
