What are the live lectures?

At a Glance

Every quarter, the library hosts a live online lecture with a specialist guest. Attend in real time, ask questions, and connect with other members — or watch the replay later. Live lectures are included in your membership at no extra cost.

How they work

Live lectures are scheduled events held online, four times a year. Each one focuses on a substantial topic, often with a guest lecturer who is a leading voice in their specialism.

If you can attend live, you'll be able to engage during the session. If you can't, the replay is added to the library afterwards so you can watch on your own schedule.

Why live matters

Most of the library is on-demand — and that flexibility is one of the reasons members love it. But there is something different about a live event: the energy of learning alongside other practitioners, the ability to ask a question and have it answered in the moment, and the sense of being part of a profession-wide conversation.

Live lectures bring that energy, without the travel and accommodation cost of an in-person event.

What to expect

  • Specialist topics — chosen for depth and relevance to current practice
  • Expert guests — practitioners with deep expertise in their field
  • Q&A — bring your questions in real time
  • Replays — added to the library so the learning doesn't disappear
