At a Glance

As a Student Library member, you have access to an exclusive, members-only Facebook group — the largest counselling student community in the world, with nearly 6,000 members.

There is also a public Counselling Tutor group open to everyone with an interest in counselling.

The Student Library Members Facebook Group

Studying counselling can sometimes feel like a solitary experience — this group is here to change that.

It is a private, supportive community exclusively for paid-up Student Library members, where you can:

  • Connect and network with other counselling and psychotherapy students
  • Share experiences and gain peer support
  • Stay informed about new lectures, resources, and upcoming events
  • Get updates and announcements from the Counselling Tutor team

The group is moderated by a team member who teaches on Counselling Tutor's courses. They oversee discussions, answer questions, and bring in the academic team when specialist answers are needed.

How to Join

Click the link below and answer the membership questions. Please make sure you answer all questions fully — this helps us keep the group exclusive to current Student Library members.

Not on Facebook? No problem. We send all important updates by email as well, so you will not miss anything.

The Open Counselling Tutor Facebook Group

We also have a public Facebook group that is open to anyone with an interest in counselling and psychotherapy — whether they are a Student Library member or not.

It is a welcoming space for support, encouragement, and conversation with like-minded people from around the world.
