The EAP template gives Employee Assistance Programme work a consistent set of headings, with separate boxes for medication, presentation, risk, the content of the session and the interventions you used. Those headings stay with the note in the saved record and in anything you export.
How to do it
- From Your Clients, open the client record. Scroll to Session Notes and click Add Note.
- Click Note Template and choose EAP (Employee Assistance Programme). The EAP headings appear in the form.
- Check the session date and number, then write your notes under the relevant headings. Risk has two boxes, one for when risk is identified and one for when it is not.
- Click Save Session Note at the bottom of the form.
Worth knowing: The template is a consistent structure, not a compliance check. Your EAP provider may want things it does not prompt for, so check their requirements. Once saved, a note is corrected by adding an amendment rather than by rewriting it.
