At a Glance

The Trauma-Informed Practice course counts as 60 hours of CPD. Once you have completed all nine modules and their assessments, you can download your certificate as evidence of 60 CPD hours, which you can use to meet your ethical body's annual requirement and add to your CV.

How Many CPD Hours Does This Course Count For?

60 hours of CPD. This covers both the self-directed learning (30 hours of online modules) and the three live tutor-led sessions, along with associated reading and reflective tasks.

How Do I Get My Certificate?

Your certificate is available to download once you have:

  1. Completed all nine course modules
  2. Passed the short assessment at the end of each module
  3. Completed the self-declaration (see below)

What Is the Self-Declaration?

As part of the certification process, you will be asked to confirm that you:

  • Hold a formal counselling qualification at diploma level or above
  • Have kept a reflective journal throughout the course and used it to process your learning
  • Have taken part in peer-observed sessions and both given and received feedback

What About the Badge?

Alongside your certificate, you can also download a Trauma-Informed Practitioner badge to use on your website and marketing materials once you have completed the course.
