At a Glance
Practice hours totals the work you have marked as attended, and Earlier hours lets you enter what you did before joining as a single opening balance. You do not need to recreate years of appointments to make your all-time total reflect your actual career.
How to do it
- From Your Clients, click Appointments Calendar near the top. On a phone that button reads Calendar. Practice hours sits above the calendar dates.
- To add earlier work, click Earlier hours. Fill in a Description, the number of Hours, and choose a Type: Client hours or Supervision given (to supervisees). Add Counted up to if it helps. Click Add hours.
- To review a period, use the period control. The choices are All time, This month, This quarter, This year, Last 12 months and Custom dates.
- Click Download for a spreadsheet of the figures.
Worth knowing: Earlier hours are counted in All time only. Choose any shorter period and they drop out of the total, which is correct but alarming if you have just entered them. Supervision given (to supervisees) means supervision you provided to someone else, not supervision you received, which is recorded separately under My supervision.
