At a Glance
The autism course has one fixed date per intake: the live implementation workshop. Everything else is self-directed and done at your own pace. Workshops run on a Sunday, roughly 10am to 3:30pm UK time.
Dates correct as of 21 August 2026. Intakes open and close through the year, so please confirm the current position on the course page before booking.
Confirmed workshop dates
| Intake | Live workshop |
|---|---|
| September 2026 | Sunday 13 September 2026 |
| November 2026 | Sunday 15 November 2026 |
| January 2027 | Sunday 17 January 2027 |
| March 2027 | Sunday 14 March 2027 |
Intakes run roughly every nine weeks, so if none of these suits you there will be another.
What the date is for
The workshop is the only fixed commitment on the course. The 39 hours of self-directed learning across six modules are done entirely at your own pace beforehand, with no schedule and no falling behind.
The workshop itself is a full day on Zoom, and it is deliberately not a lecture. By the time you arrive you have already done the learning, so the day is spent putting it to work: drafting website copy about how you work with autistic clients, planning reasonable adjustments to your room or online setup, rethinking contracting and first sessions, exploring where your competence ends, and giving and receiving peer feedback in breakout rooms.
If your cohort's date does not work
Full attendance at the workshop is required to graduate, and it cannot be replaced by a recording. The peer interaction and the live feedback are the point of the day.
You can attend a future cohort's workshop instead. This is built into how the course runs rather than being an exception, so it is not a problem to arrange. Email us and the team will sort the swap, and you keep access to the self-directed materials throughout.
