How do I enrol and join the next cohort?

Enrolment starts with the free course handbook, not at checkout. Download it from the course page and you will receive the training dates for the next intake, the pricing and payment plan options, and an overview of how the training is delivered. Downloading the handbook also puts you on the waiting list, so we can tell you when enrolment opens.

Step by step

  1. Visit the Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision page.
  2. Download the course handbook — free, and no commitment.
  3. Check your inbox. Alongside the handbook you'll receive the training dates for the next intake, the pricing and payment plan options, and an overview of how the training is delivered.
  4. You're now on the waiting list. We'll let you know when enrolment opens for the next intake, and keep you posted about the intakes after that.
  5. When enrolment opens, complete the secure checkout — pay in full or via the interest-free payment plan.
  6. You'll receive your welcome email with login details and access to the learning portal.
  7. Around 2 weeks before live sessions begin, you'll be invited to a short, optional introductory session to meet your peers and tutors and get oriented.
  8. Begin self-directed pre-learning so you arrive at session 1 already grounded.
  9. Submit your supervisor's reference letter within the first part of the course (the team will give you the criteria to share with your supervisor).
  10. Live sessions begin — six full days, every two weeks, on Zoom.

If the handbook does not arrive or will not download

Check your spam or junk folder first, and make sure you used the email address you want us to write to.

If it still has not come, you can download the handbook directly. The link for the Supervision Course Handbook is: https://counselling-tutor.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/Supervision+Course/Supervision+Course+Handbook.pdf

Please note: this direct copy gives you the handbook only. It does not put you on the waiting list or send you the training dates and pricing. For those, email us at support@counsellingtutor.com and we will help.

Tuesdays or Saturdays

Live sessions run on either a Tuesday or a Saturday, and the two alternate from one cohort to the next. One cohort runs on Tuesdays, the following cohort runs on Saturdays.

This is not a choice you make at enrolment. The day is set for each intake, so check which day the intake you are interested in runs on before you commit.

The waiting list

The course regularly sells out before all spaces can be filled. Downloading the handbook puts you on the waiting list, so there is nothing else to do — places typically open up between cohorts, and you'll be notified before public release.

A healthy waiting list is maintained at all times, so it's worth registering interest even if no current dates fit your schedule.

A note on filtering

The pre-enrolment process — including nurture emails before you commit — is designed to help you self-evaluate honestly. We would rather you decide not to enrol now than enrol when you aren't ready.

If you are weighing it up and want to talk it through, you can email support@counsellingtutor.com — a real person will reply.
